The JCB 16C is a lightweight tailswing model, super conventional, and ideally suited for tough work sites. It’s also ideal for towing behind vans or trucks.
Heavy duty
- The JCB 16C’s bodywork is crafted from 100% steel through state-of-the-art manufacturing processes, able to withstand knocks. The bushed dig end with hoses routed through the dipper and boom adds extra durability, alongside a heavy duty H-frame undercarriage.
- Additional features of the JCB 16C include long greasing intervals of 500 hours (resulting in less downtime), a large glass area for unrivalled visibility down to the dozer blade, and reduced minimum front swing radius (allowing work in small, tight spaces).
Quick and easy
- The JCB 16C is quick and easy to work, maintain, clean, and transport. The 180° opening service door provides quick and simple access for speedy cleaning and maintenance. A sloping undercarriage means there is minimal soil retention which results in a fast cleaning process. Plus, daily greasing isn’t necessary. With a low transport weight and 10 tie down and 4 lifting points, the JCB 16C can be transported quickly and easily.
- Other handy features include an external lockable fuel tank that is easily accessible, a right hand panel with easy to read warnings and indicators and easy button functions, and button-operated standard 2-speed tracking.
