FreeFlow and PowerFlow

The front of the Fendt CORUS 500 can feature a FreeFlow or PowerFlow header, allowing you to work even in difficult conditions and achieve a uniform crop feed and high throughput. The FreeFlow header is available with a cutting width of 4.8m to 7.6m, and is fitted with a Schumacher cutter bar that can perform 1254 cuts per minute. The feed auger features movable fingers across the full working width, ensuring a continuous crop flow.
The PowerFlow header operates at a width of 5.5m to 6.2m. The Schumacher knife cuts at 1254 cuts per minute, while behind this, the crop is actively fed into the intake auger via PowerFlow belts. Any stones are filtered and pushed back out, preventing damage to the machine. Crop feed is fed through uniformly, resulting in a reduction of build-up on the cutter bar, and reducing loss. This means that the Fendt CORUS 500 can operate for longer at maximum power and speed.

Threshing, separation, and cleaning

Your crops will be safe and well-tended to by the Fendt CORUS 500. The powerful, versatile threshing drum is combined with a large threshing concave surface, ensuring intensive (but still gentle!) threshing and separation. The Fendt CORUS 500 has the highest drop steps of all conventional straw walker combines, at 21cm. The walkers on the CORUS 500 are wear-resistant and open, ensuring optimum separation.
The CORUS 500 also features a modular grain pan that can be equipped with removable plastic inserts that increase versatility, and simplify the cleaning process, especially when working in challenging conditions or with crops such as corn and soy beans. The machine has a high-performance 4.7m² cleaning system. The crop is passed through evenly over a cleaning shoe, and a grain and chaff layer are formed. These 2 layers are then separated by a powerful fan.
