The Fendt Katana 650 features a BalancedGrip all-wheel drive system, allowing incredible versatility, plus a new grinding device which significantly increases the service life of the knives and whetstones.
The machine meets the European Stage V emissions standard.
Powerful, grippier, more flow capacity
- The Fendt Katana 650 lives up to its name – able to achieve a rated power of 650hp thanks to the MTU 6-cylinder in-line engine. The air flow is controlled and determined by the angle of each blade, with a variable fan with reverse function installed as standard.
- The BalancedGrip all-wheel drive system gives the Fendt Katana 650 more grip, and prevents the wheels spinning out at low front axle loads. On slopes, torque is reduced, resulting in improved all-terrain capabilities. The Fendt Katana 650 has had a refresh and redesign, which has led to an improved flow capacity of 21%. The machine also consumes 12% less fuel when operating, but still maintains high grain processing rates.
Sustainable farming for the future
- The Fendt Katana 650 is incredibly fuel efficient with a range of new features built-in. These include new crackers which optimise crop pickup and result in the machine requiring less power, therefore saving on fuel. A continually adjustable, innovative sharpening tool is also present on the knife unit, which restores the whetstone during grinding. The constant adjustments mean that the knives are sharpened more evenly, resulting in the whetstone and knives lasting a lot longer than previous machines. This reduces maintenance costs and frequency, helping both your wallet and the planet!
- The 460Plus maize header is now available in the StalkBuster version of the Fendt Katana 650. The StalkBuster stubble crushing technique features a built-in mulcher, which breaks up corn stubble while harvesting. This protection measure prevents pest infestation and reduces the need for chemical agents dramatically. This makes for more sustainable farming.
