The telescopic handler boasts extraordinary versatility due to JCB’s revolutionary offset single-spine chassis. The chassis wraps around the cab, and core strength is under the boom.

- The JCB 516-40 Agri boasts world-renowned productivity and efficiency. The steering rams are located high on the axle, keeping them out of the way from damage. The machine comes equipped with 4 wheel drive as standard, meaning it achieves ultimate traction on a range of surfaces – yes, even soft mud! You can also select from a range of tyres to best suit your environment.
- Directional control is fast and easy thanks to a joystick-mounted shuttle switch. Raise up to 1600kg through the lift arc of the boom up to 4m high. The JCB 516-40 Agri also offers a 1000kg lift capacity when at 2m forward reach, so loading or unloading is safe and effective.
Safe and secure
- The JCB 516-40 Agri’s cab is ROPS (Rollover Protection System) and FOPS (Falling Objects Protection System) certified. The machine also has hose burst check valves (HBCVs) which protect the rams from collapse in the event of a hose failure.
- Although the JCB 516-40 Agri is a small, compact machine, visibility is uncompromised. The machine has a large roof screen, and optional front and back work lights. The control switches are laid out in an ergonomic, user-friendly layout, and are also backlit – meaning even at night they are easy to use.
